I am a Brooklyn based photographer specializing in portraits and professional headshots. My portraits are about connection - a moment, a look, a smile that communicates who you are, and briefly captures that unique and intangible force, the human spirit.

Being an actor myself, I have experienced the stress and pressure of the headshot process. A headshot is an actor's MOST important tool, and it is imperative to have an engaging and powerful image. The stakes are high, and the pressure of finding the right photographer and getting a shot that is just the right mix of personal, flattering, truthful and noticeable can be overwhelming. Whether it's on stage or in front of the camera we often become our own worst enemies, letting fear and judgement hold us back. As a photographer I see myself as a scene partner for you. We'll work together to bring out an amazing looking photo that is truly you.

I apply the same philosophy to all my portraits (professional headshots, family, personal portraits)...the look or feel of the shot may change, but an emotional connection is always the key ingredient.
